A beautiful large vintage Swedish kilim rug, handwoven in wool and dating from the mid-20th century.

The design features a warm golden ochre central field with subtle linear variations, framed by a broad ivory border decorated with repeating geometric floral motifs. Soft mustard yellow, caramel, tan and warm brown tones create a particularly harmonious and understated palette, characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century textile design.
