Sourcing to your brief. Send us your mood board, colour palette, floor plan, measurements and project deadline. We'll shortlist pieces from the gallery and, when needed, from Nasim's contacts built over four decades.
Honest advice on where a rug will work. Many hand-knotted wool rugs are very hard-wearing, but not every antique suits a busy hallway or a hotel lobby. We'll tell you which pieces suit which spaces, and recommend the right underlay.
Restoration and washing. Nasim began his career as a rug restorer. Restoration is carried out at our own warehouse, and rugs are professionally washed at a specialist factory. We can look after pieces before installation and through the life of a project.
Simple buying. Trade pricing, holds while your client decides, and invoicing that suits your project.

- Choose. We send a shortlist with photos and video, or you visit the Weybridge gallery.
- Try. Hold pieces, borrow them for a presentation, or try them on site.
- Deliver. Free UK delivery, washed and ready to lay.
About Hakiemie Rug Gallery
Nasim Hakiemie has spent more than 40 years with antique rugs. He trained as a restorer in Iran, dealt for ten years in the Netherlands, and came to London in 2012. Every rug in the gallery is chosen by him, and he can tell you where it was woven, roughly when, and how it has lived.
Visit the gallery at 130 Oatlands Drive, Weybridge, Surrey: Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, or by appointment.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply multiple rugs for one project?
Yes. Antique rugs are one of a kind, so we source pieces that work together in colour and scale rather than matching sets.
Can you find a specific size?
Often. Send your measurements and we'll search our stock and contacts. Antique sizes vary, so we'll tell you what's realistic.
Are antique rugs suitable for commercial spaces?
Many are, but not all. Hand-knotted wool from village and tribal weavers is very hard-wearing, while very fine or silk rugs belong in quieter rooms. We'll advise on which pieces suit high-traffic areas and recommend underlay.
What are your payment terms?
Trade orders are invoiced pro-forma and paid by bank transfer before dispatch. Ask us about larger projects.
Are trade prices shown on the website?
No. Prices on the website are retail. Trade pricing is shared once your account is approved.
