A strong and well-balanced antique Persian Heriz carpet, hand-knotted in northwest Iran circa 1930. This piece displays the bold angular motifs typical of Heriz weaving, rendered in a confident and harmonious colour palette that gives it excellent visual presence.
With a very good pile, soft wool quality, and secure ends and selvages, the carpet remains in very good condition overall. A desirable and decorative example, well suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
