A classic antique Persian Heriz carpet, hand-knotted in northwest Iran circa 1930. The design centres on a large hooked and floral medallion with pendant forms, set within a balanced field of angular floral motifs. The palette is anchored by a steel-blue border with bold rosettes framed between floral stripes, giving the piece a strong architectural presence.

There is slight localised wear to the pile, consistent with age, while the overall pile remains good. Selvedges are original, and the ends retain short, secure fringes. In general, the carpet is in very good usable condition and works as an impressive furnishing piece.
