A fine antique Persian Malayer rug, hand-knotted in western Iran circa 1900. The design features densely drawn floral motifs rendered in warm, saturated tones that stand in strong contrast to the deep black ground. The drawing is crisp and confident, giving the rug a rich, decorative presence while remaining balanced and classical in character.

The palette retains excellent clarity, with reds, blues, and ivory highlights enlivening the dark field. The rug shows light, even wear consistent with age and remains in good, usable condition. A strong and expressive example of turn-of-the-century Malayer weaving.
