An authentic antique Persian Karaja runner, hand-knotted in the Heriz region of northwest Iran, circa 1900. This earlier example shows the classic Karaja single-column composition of hooked and stepped medallions, drawn with strong tribal clarity and balance.
The palette of warm rust red, deep indigo, and soft camel tones has mellowed beautifully over time. A long, generously proportioned runner with excellent presence, ideal for hallways, corridors, and design-led interiors.
